Do you like some snark in your writing? A sense of sarcasm? Do you not suffer fools very well?
If so, we'll probably get along fine. I don't write literary. I don't write traditional. I call it like I see it.
Check out my samples. If you like what you see, and believe in paying for quality work, get in touch and I will start writing epic content for you.
I was a fire lieutenant for 29 years on Miami Township Fire Rescue and before that, the Antioch College Fire Department. Previously I had been a medic at Cabrini Hospital in New York City. After a van smacked into me and ended my fire career, I started writing books, mainly on the fire service, as well as offering freelance writing.
I write regularly for the Huffington Post and Writers Weekly. My work has appeared in Village Voice, Family Life, and ESPN.com among others. Along with eight published books, my work has been published by several anthologies, including Murder Ink, Traditions, and three anthologies from the Covington Writers Group (I was editor for the first one.)
